Those guys are pretty awesome, Jackson. I like all of the details you've painted in, although I think they need more contrast in a few areas that blend together, like the Elk's torso and cape.
Thanks, yeah, normally I would make the inside of the capes dark as to properly outline the torso but I've only modelled one side (since it's for mobile) so both sides need to look the same, but this is OK since the game is viewed from a high angle and the camera will never be looking at the players from a front on angle like this. In other news, today I made a graveyard theme'd level for this game as well as started on some new enemies;

Yeah, McMutton, that's awesome. Really 'soft' shading.
More "PS1" SD models. Forgive the crudeness of the swords.
Another pet peeve. Someone hasn't played old 3D games much.

Really cool stuff McMutton, I've been following your progress in your devlog thread and its all really impressive. I get burnt out just doing tracks and cars for Turbo Run, I don't know how you keep this pace up making fully rigged characters and environments. Heres some tiles. Just noticed some of the rivet things aren't aligned right. Oops.

The windmill looks like something from Zelda or Tales. And here's me messing with post-processing effects. This is an enemy that explodes into energy when killed.

Thanks guys. How about a tiny windmill? That's lovely. Might look better if the wooden bit at the front was fixed? As it's part of the shaft that the arms are spinning around.

Yeah it's only rotating 90 degrees and snapping back. I just meant generally though, it just looked to me like it was part of the same piece of wood that's sticking out of the back, and it'd look more sturdy if it didn't rotate at all (so the one piece of wood goes through the whole thing).

Oh yeah, just noticed that the part at the back doesn't move with the part at the front...
