It doesn't look like we would know what the object was even with a normal shader.

Environment I'm working on for school~

Still a work in progress and I kind of like the diffuse-only look, except that shit won't fly at school.

looks wonderful ! The process is great to see.

I've been doing coding and design work on Dungeon Hearts 2 for so long I haven't opened up 3DS Max in what feels like forever. Didn't want to get too out of practice so I started on a new goblin enemy. Still tweaking proportions a bit, then on to unwrapping.

I like the simplicity of the design, but it seems a little off-balance with the big hat and seeming to be slightly leaning backwards. I think it would look a lot better if the heels were placed a bit further back to better support the implied weight.

How does it attack?

I've started working on an archer that could replace a hero in Dota2
I dont intend on putting on the workshop or anything, I just want to make a character by the same standards as a Dota2 one in terms of polycount, color palette etc.

From what I can see, most dota heros are around 4k poly

Yeah I can see it now that you mention it, should be an easy fix.

He's a spell caster. Thematically all the characters are represented as Warhammer-style 3d minis though, so I don't know yet if they'll even be animated (apart from particle effects).

*awesomesauce*

Jackson31: those colors and shapes look great. Any inspiration from the palette for Hyper Light Drifter? (the neon teal on pink/red is what comes to mind)
