Looking good Willy! There's some nice details in there.

To celebrate the 3D thread getting stickified, I whipped up a model of someone you may know:

hey. this looks a lot better than the real deal. great job, man.

I'm not sure where else to put this, but this guy's working on creating procedurally generated content. Not just PCG terrain, but buildings too- the church in this image is created by a random assemblage of prefabricated pieces. Pretty amazing stuff.

I like that quote model up there because it stays true to his original low-res representation.  Smiley

I don't have a serious problem with the 3DS's Quote, but his eyes seem really weird to me.

This is nice. Smiley I also like this one (not by me), for those who haven't seen it. More lo-fi.

Only just seen the 3DS one - his eyes are indeed weird.

Ta for the link to that procedural stuff Theo, very cool!

Nice, I like that Quote! I need to make a gun for mine and rig him for some cool action shots.

@Ishi
Where did you find that Quote? I regularly check Spacey's website and polycount posts for low poly awesomeness but I haven't seen that one before.

Aaagh, I love low poly + low res texture. It's like a beautiful lovechild of pixel art and 3D Modelling ;w;

Some stuff all from 2+ years ago. All either unfinished, or not a full game project.

Zelda-like.

Battenberg Coffee

A companion cube using 12 polys + parallax shaders. Stole the diffuse texture off the internet somewhere.

A mini planet thing. Tried to do spherical reflections in the water.

3D Treasure Treasure stuff I was tinkering with.

A procedural volcano generator. Not too technically impressive, but the results were decent enough.

Ishi: Things like that are the reason i'd love to get my head around coding a 3D engine!

I made some planet shaders for a unity game called "Spacebrick" Smiley
The clouds look really nice in motion, and the colours of various bits the planet are generated randomly (though the water in this case is the same, these were edited by hand for display outside the game Tongue).
You can click for a bigger version but as it's a unity game it was made for a smallish browser window.
