Edit: Whoa, Hawt Koffee! That's looking good. I love the cartoony direction you're going combined with the baked AO. Really like the lightened corners, too No problem Jotapeh! I left a response. I studied low-poly 3D Modeling in college and I've taught a few workshops for college students. I'm not a 3D Super Master, but I might be able to answer questions

Trying to work on a technique for texturing space ships. Not sure I'll use this but I thought it looked pretty funky/cool.

Thanks for the link, cool stuff. Wasn't trying for anything in particular, just trying to figure out some techniques to make stuff look good.

My friend Zack made this character, although I posed it and tweaked it to fit the style of characters in Dungeon Hearts. She's in game now, but not animated yet.

Awesome work by everyone here so far, very inspiring. Here is essentially the finished product of what I have been working on the past couple of days. A few things to note, firstly it is meant to be a low poly model. Secondly texturing by far is my weakest skill, not that I am particularly a good modeler or anything, so there is more then likely a lot of room for improvement but it was a good lesson in forming a concept and then working through the stages until completion; it is rare that I set out to work on something and that it comes to fruition so I am quite happy with what I have made.. anyway: Based off this (rubbish) concept art that I drew by hand with MS paint: I am by no means an artist. Also believe it or not, there are hours of work in that texture.

Thanks guys. Theo, that's exactly what I was going for... I see your thoughts Is she gonna be a boss, Chris? Emotions! *Set of emotional kid pics here* Really nice job, McMutton. You can really see which emotions he has, and his general attitude and state of mind in each pic. @Chris Pavia - Very professional-looking character, texture and modeling, and the pose itself.
