@threesided - Awesome mesh, man. He looks really simple and smooth, but defined, like a PS3 version of a PS2 RPG NPC character. Cheesy They really need more inventive games nowadays. :/

@rabidbaboy - I don't sculpt much at all, but I think it's gotten better. I think they're working on dynamic subdivision, like Sculptris has.

rabidbaboy: I would if I kept the obj, haha. I dont bother keeping them for throwaway stuff, leaves too much clutter. Cheers for the crit though.


Need to fix the front face detection to work from all directions in my voxel renderer - 3rd face shows the same scene from the "wrong" angle. (5 hours in)

Placeholder trees - you can see the trunks kinda in the middle shot. Got to make the tops of them more tree-y and less cube-y at some point today, as well as _maybe_ having some thicker trunks - they're not going to branch at any point though. I'll see if adding a random walk walk parametric flooding function is a good idea later on as it'd be nice for making pits/caves too with the right parameters.
