@threesided - Cool Gomez. Well modeled - I like how simple and chubby he is, too.
@invaderace - It took me over 10 seconds to scroll past your post because I kept seeing something moving out of the corner of my eye. Turns out I wasn't crazy! I like that a lot - it's very pixelly, but also well modeled. I'd like to play a game that looks like that. You might want to try experimenting with the lighting to make it not so plain. Other than that, it looks great!
Cool looking Sims game, too! It looks like it could be fun!

thank you for the response! i think you're right about the lighting on the deer picture, something about it really makes the grass especially look kind of uninteresting, particularly on the rock. i've only been at this a few weeks and before 3d i did essentially nothing but black and white ink drawings, so there's a lot of beating my head against the walls of color theory and lighting to go! |

invaderace, you'll learn very quickly that this forum loves copious amounts of image-y goodness. But if you are worried you can always make a personal thread in the art forum to show off your wares. Nobody will mind as long as it's good stuff.
