Hi everybody,

I m a french composer and I make different track about Ghibli...

Ghibli is a great studio about animation, with Miyazaki and Takahata, and this studio realised great movies like Chihiro, Mononoke or Castle's moving...

I composed 7 original music for their films :

Hi there Sam! I've only just had the time to listen to your music. There's a certain elegance to your music, a cutesy sound that seems fitting, although I'll admit--somewhat ashamed--that I've yet to see a Studio Ghibli movie. Princess Mononoke brought Muse to mind!

As a suggestion, try to increase the sense of progression of the individual pieces by adorning them somewhat. For example, you can add soft tinkles from mallet and bell instruments to the piano pieces as the track progresses. There seems to be plenty of room on the left and right sides of most pieces' mixes, so don't be afraid to add some more instruments--just keep them low on volume; the piano remains central. 

All in all highly enjoyable pieces; keep it up!

You've got the structure and class to your music. Like Barendhoff, I agree that there is a beauty that is uniquely yours, the desire to have a simple message through complex articulation is a daunting one but you pulled it off with aplomb, I enjoyed how fast paced it was yet it still felt like it could belong. You could add what Barendhoff said, and maybe in your future songs add even more vivace like (horns, trumpets) to your tracks, it sounds like (bad pun), you're going for a unique fast paced nostalgic style that wants to get to the center of your song, which is most definitely not a bad thing  . Like a swing waltz sorta

For Ghibli , I opted for fairly specific music, in a register that adapts to the movies. My next piece Ghibli , if I can , is an opera piece .
Otherwise, I also work on completely different pieces, like jazz, or voices .

You can find other totally different songs on my soundcloud or Youtube, with electric guitar , voices , etc ... That I have not used for Ghibli music.
