Still working on our entry.
It's an icecream vendor simulator where you are a godzilla-like creature who scares away his customers and occasionally kills them.

My friend made a flappy bird-like game where you play a dragon burning the countryside:

I like it, it's simple and effective

Prinsessa, do you still expect to need hosting space? (So I know I should pay attention to IRC and/or the forums during submission hour.)

Sorry for not replying, but it got solved! Another two people joined in on our jamming and one of them has a web hotel so he gave me access and problem solved. C: Thanks again for offering your help, tho!

SO MY ENTRY IS UP!

Halfway into submission hour and all. I just had to go add sound effects to the doors in the last deadline hour...

TURN ON THE LIGHTS

Made by me, my partner in life and dev Marte, and friends Morten and Ida.

We took on a grim theme dear to the four of us, and our hopes is that something will come out of it for those who play it.

Turn on the lights and discover monstrosities in the comfort of your own chair! “Turn on the light” is a psychological feelbad game in 2.5D, with a hint of puzzles. Perhaps you will discover something about yourself.

Time for me to sleep. A lot. Will be checking you other people's entries later!

Thank you for the feedback on my game's page, VDZ!  It's greatly appreciated!  And you really nailed the description of the mechanics!  It's much better than I could figure out how to word... Would you mind if I added that in the game's description at the top?

And I'll be looking forward to trying some of the entries here tonight!

This is what we ended up with..

http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-33/?action=preview&uid=55514

It was supposed to be a narrative based game, but the narrative part got ditched until the last second.. *sigh*
I was too busy making room models to even care in the end.. So the narrative was pretty much just placeholders.

I'm surprised at all the content that we made though, but an extra hour of polish would have gone a long long way. Some important parts lack proper lighting to lead the player and there are some graphical glitches.

Still amazes me that we managed to pull it off though, we've never worked with 3D level design or lighting before.
I learned more this weekend than I've learned over the last few months.

We tried making a game about what it feels like being a badass dragon. This is what we came up with. Now I can't wait to dig in and rate some games all week long!   Smiley

The mood in this game is amazing.
Love the art.

I never saw an ending got to the lab but couldn't figure out what to do next.

This would probably work quite well in VR

That was pretty fun!

Ours was about a tiny little Oni who terrorizes Japanese villagers by possessing things. I think this could be a full game if we worked more on it.

Tried making a tamagotchi game with a switched point of view that somehow ended up being a dating sim? Tongue

@ OnionBlaze
Your game is so adorable!!

I have my own entry here! I wasn't too sure of it, but it seems to be appreciated.

Raided

Fairly simple you eliminate Courageous Adventurer attempting this All new In town raid boss.

The enemy starts naive, with foolish one man show, and as they get slaughtered they wisen up, come in bigger groups, send stronger opponent and even party up.

While you can not become any stronger (boss dont level up) you can change up your skill arsenal to better deal with the wave at hand. (but really, screw strategy, just wreck havoc as a boss should)
Oh, after death you respawn to the last wave you reached, So just keep trying till you get it.

Hey guys! We wanted to share our Ludum Dare 33 entry for the theme You Are The Monster! If we had more time we would have got into powerups, and limb health. These changes would have made gameplay more strategic. Overall it was a fun learning experience!
