Has noone suggested Altitude yet?

Besides being totally cool, indie, fun and polished, they just revamped their website, have a forum, and will be available for purchase soon while still being free for the time being. I reckon it's an excellent time for them to get press - although it might not be a bad idea to contact the developers first Smiley

Plus, they also have videos on youtube you can use to post on the mainpage!

Virtual On 4k is a 4k remake [that I made in just five days] of the awesome mech fighting game Virtual On.

I've only gotten as far as the flaming boulder so far, but that game really deserves a frontpage.

Pretty damning simplification of the genre.

I don't feel like reading all that stuff in the back though.

Actually, now that I think about it, why not frontpage the whole Lo-Fi RPG Jam?

FAKE EDIT: In Another Brothel is finished? Frontpage is required!

It is made by me ofcourse, but the game is unique and original -- and also has smooth + nice graphics.

Here is the link: http://www.yoyogames.com/games/show/71570

I hope you all enjoy, please leave a comment here about it.

Thanks TIG, and I hope you like it aswell. Smiley

I think that's more something to post in feedback.

EDIT: Wait, already has a thread in announcements... It looks cool, but it doesn't really seem like something to post in this thread.

Dave The Ordinary Spaceman
Download Site (30 MB / Win, Mac)
Entry on pouët.net
I have made a 20 sec gameplay clip (4 MB / MP4 file)
to show what this game looks like in action

Oldschool Platformer that mixes 2D retro pixel graphics with 3D Effects.
+ Rewind Remote Control Feature. (As seen in Braid and Prince Of Persia)
When you got destroyed: Be Kind Rewind would Jack Black say.
Enemies can be destroyed if you hop them on the head or with usual laser beams.
For Laser Beams, Rewind, Pausing Enemies and Recording you need your Remote Control...Therefore you need Batteries which have to be collected.
(After you have used the Elevator in the 1st Level go to the left to collect your first batteries!)
Recording Function: You can record what you have played and then press the play button to see a holograph of yourself. For Example you you record yourself jumping straight into the air and then play that holograph when an enemy walks by to stomp on his head.
By the way once you get the Jetpack you can charge it with pressing up, then release the button and tap the UP arrow key for maximum jump height.

I recommend to give this game a try!!

edit: needs a fairly decent graphics card. dont know which is good enough cause i couldnt find any info on that topic in the readme or on the site...)
(thanks to cheater for pointing this out!)

2nd Level

Controls...

Teletext Menu in Full animated 3D!
(Type in the appropriate number to choose an option e.g. 105 to start)

Just before anyone tries that, that game needs some cool machine. It was pretty slow on mine*.

*Which is, you know, not that good, but from some comments it seems some people have computers that are "less capable" than mine
