Could you make crowdsourcing fun? British Library Labs and the Digital History Research Centre (U. Hertfordshire) are hosting a Game Jam (4-11 September 2015) and are challenging participants to build a simple video game that makes it fun to provide crowdsourced data about our collection of 1 million historic images.
If we like what we see, we've set aside up to £500 (courtesy of the Andrew Mellon Foundation) to work with the designer of the best game to polish their game and release it as part of our 'Mechanical Curator Arcade Game', a 1980s-style arcade console that we're building.
