This weekend the Raspberry Jam starts (https://itch.io/jam/raspberry-jam)!It's a week long jam, so it shouldn't interfere with your daily life the way an intense short one would!

This is an oddly specific jam, not restricted by theme, but by the platform it's for! The Raspberry Pi and a controller!

What is a Pi? It's a credit card sized computer that has sold more than ~6 Million units.

We've been working on a handheld console project that uses the Pi and we were sad to see only a handful of legal games that ran on it(non emulated games). We really want to change that! It would also be super cool to send people the console we're making filled with awesome little indie games!

Suggestions are welcome, and spreading the word would be awesome too!

Does this sound like a neat jam to anyone?

This jam is live now!  there's a list of engines that are compatible with the Pi here: https://itch.io/jam/raspberry-jam/topic/29/game-engines-compatible-with-the-game-kid-raspberry-pi

and I made a few free assets/sprites for anyone who wants them:
