i guess its ok as long as u dont take it as gospel. the adverb thing is still extremely stupidly idiotically dumb tho. B)

oh and theres nothing wrong with long sentences. lots of short sentences sounds unnatural to me, probably because im a fast talker irl and im also very "verbal" in my writing.

yeah i lean a lot on multi-clause sentences, semicolons, and commas.

it's a useful way to identify if your vocabulary and sentence construction is a little TOO much, though

I'm curious in the parser behind it. That shit seems impressive.

The hemingway method is just one writer's way. Keep that in mind, as this app is designed to make you sound like him. Not like an english major or even someone who is good at english writing. I personally dislike the app.

Hemingway the application does not make you sound like Ernest Hemingway the author. It is a way for you to judge the overall readability of a piece of writing by comparing common attributes such as sentence structure, word use, and active/passive voice. You can use it however you want to use it.

That's only because Hemingway doesn't judge grammar, so grammar mistakes don't show up. Your rewrite has grammar errors, so it's invalid.

This would be the minimal way to express that post:

gimmy you're up

That was kinda mean and I still don't know why the 3D thread was deleted (or sent to a place I've no access to), but I won't ask for answers because I'm to shy to ask in the first place and totally lost the plot now.
I'm in the mood for drinking a few bottles of beer now and will go somewhere I can purchase them, so I hope I'll find answers here when I come back to this thread and read them with delight and pleasure and tomorrow I'll regret anything I wrote tonite, but that doesen't matter right now because I'm surfing on a rainbow in the middle of a storm while everyone is watching.
Here's a poem I just pulled out of my arse:

the lake
is fake
So am I
why?

the dragon
is real
Nor am I
what?

Stand still
and
watch
the butterflies

and drink
another
rye
