So I've discovered Unreal doesn't have the ability to make props and stuff, so I'm looking for a 3D modeling software that would be useful for importing things that I make. I'm toying with Blender, but reaching out and asking around is always a good idea. So, any suggestions? :D

I'm not an expert by any means, just learning 3D on my own free time. But I think Blender is pretty powerful and best of all, free. I assume the assets you make on it can be easily imported to Unreal or any other engine of your choice.

I've used many modeling softwares but I've always liked blender the best. Getting a hang of all the hotkeys etc. can be a huge bother and after using for years, I still find new tricks.
Like Keops said, it's free.
