I'm making a game. It's called Funny Cat.  It's about a cat. His name is Funny Cat. He's really funny. He is hungry. He won a raffle. He got free food for 2 minutes. He wants to eat the food. But there is also not-food. He wants to laser the not-food. If he eats a not-food, he dies from not-food-eating. If he lasers a food, he goes mad because he lasered a food. If he lasts 2 minutes, he wins. Can you last 2 minutes. Can you win a fabulous score and prizes. ... I don't know. It's not done yet. I'm still working on the graphics for the food and not-food. It'll be done by the deadline, though. I can't show any more screenshots because... secrets.  This will actually be the first real game I've ever completed, actually. :D |

Oh man, this game freaked me out when I first started playing. So, congratulations on that.
Beyond that, the graphics are tight and it's a fun game. Awesome!

Wow, all around awesome. The music is perfect and combined with the jerky/flashy graphics makes me feel like I have to go really fast so I panic and hit the wrong button. 142 the first time i survived.

Terrifying. You really got me there- I think I released a string of incomprehensibles when I first played it. Something about being tricked. HE WON A RAFFLE! Ah, and the music and lighting really set the scene. Gives it a sense of... urgency, in the least.
We've got to see more of this Cat.

Yeah, this is a great one. The art style is great, and really sets the frantic tone. The same gameplay under different circumstances wouldn't be nearly as fun-- but the style of the game here elevates it and really makes me want to feed myself as efficiently as possible as I dispatch all that is not food without mercy.
One thing that confused me initially were the controls. I just downloaded the game and had no idea what was going on, or how to use he laser until i came to this thread. Maybe put them in the game somewhere?

I was kinda crunched for time at the end, so I had to leave out the option to customize one's controls. Anyway, THANK YOU people. |
