I'm working on a 2D game and it's getting to the stage where I want to try and play test my game mechanics. For this, I want to get some animations in there so I can see what the flow is going to be like.

My 2D art skills are extremely basic, so I'm wondering what resources any of you guys use when needing to use placement animations to test stuff when you don't have an artist to draw anything for you?

for placeholders I've done spriters resource. My current title has a lot of movement based stuff in it, so I needed something that handled a lot of different movement states, was able to find a spritesheet on there that did what I wanted. Note though that 99% of the stuff on there is already copyrighted, so you'll have to remove it eventually.
