Winter is Coming
As per common law:
-I (the host) will provide a theme for the challenge.
-You will be given
four weeks to compose one song with said theme.
-The song must be a
new track made for this challenge.
-You will post your song here, in the official challenge thread.
-Other participants will listen to your song. You will listen to other participants' songs.
Critique will be had.-A winner will be chosen by the host/poll.
-The winner will host the next challenge.
Description: OH NO!! Your favourite game is making a sequel and it just happens to have an Ice Level. The game company has hired YOU to make music for it and your first task is to write music for that Ice Level. They need the track in the next 4 weeks so they can send a demo of the level to the publisher.
The goal of this challenge is to create a winter tune. It can be eerie, happy, sad, you name it. It can also be made with any instrumentation you wish… You want to make a dubstep/chiptune/(insert any other sort of instrumentation you please)? Have at it!

Judging:
I will choose 3 finalists and create a poll to elect a winner
You will be judged on:
Creativity: Is the piece memorable? Are there parts that stick out to the listener making them want to listen/play on?
Production: Is the piece sequenced/recorded/mixed well?
Overall theme: Does the piece fit the theme?
Deadline: Whenever it isn’t
