Is anyone else ridiculously excited for this movie? Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I789Pr5wLUcI was at the New York Comicon and was THIS close to seeing it before it came out. They had a private screening for the first people that got there, but I wasn't quick enough.

Hahaha!
The only thing I'm not to excited about is the fat boy scout. I hate characters like that, they always ruin everything in a very jar jar binks kind of way.

Wow, looks very awesome. The protagonist reminds me of Braid. And he's totally awesome.

I love to see how Pixar have really mastered the art at creating their own style of human characters. I remember seeing Toy Story and the people in that- kinda simple and "safe", then you see the Incredibles and the Human characters in that have come so far, stylistically (although I find that film a little boring at times). Then Wall-e was crazy with chubby people, crossed with real videos of people Up is gonna be great, I hope. BTW, I really recommend the Art of Pixar books, they are packed with amazing concept art

This looks great! I never much liked the look of Cars, but with Wall-E and now this they seem (I hope) to be back on a roll.

I'm pretty sure the fat boy scout will actually have character development and actual importance to the plot, unlike Jar Jar. I mean, this is Pixar we're talking about, not George Lucas.

Cars was a decent, competent film, but yeah, it didn't really have the magic that some of their other films do. I also felt that Ratatouille was a little under par, but again, totally competently made - just not my thing I guess.

Actually, Ratatouille is one of my favorites. Maybe because it was directly after Cars?

Agreed Reetva.
But the Incredibles will always be my favorite no matter what.

I seem to be the only person I know that did not enjoy Ratatouille.
A Bug's Life ftw.

I didn't really enjoy A Bug's Life, I don't know why... But I certainly do like it more than Cars, which wasn't very good...
