If I had the skills to compete in 7DFPS, I'd work on a tower-defense shooter where you play as a gun, shooting at things from the top of the tower in a panorama fashion. It may seem first-person, thinking you're a gun operator, but it's really third-person.

Geolocation based RPG with bluetooth-based/wireless co-op functionality. With a persistent world based on google maps but with new names, new look, etc. You'd search IRL for hidden treasure, go to specific places to receive and complete quests. Find and battle monsters together with friends using your smartphone. "Honey, when you swing by the supermarket can you take my phone with you and give the orb of light to the wizard? Been meaning to do that for ages.. Oh but don't stop for too long or those goblins from across the street might attack you.." Pretty sure a supernatural/mystery theme would work better than fantasy though It's one of those ideas that sound kinda awesome, but might be really dull when you actually try it..

Virtual geocaching? Yeah, but with a much larger scope. Focusing a lot on presentation (graphics, theme, mood, interface). And the coop mechanic to somehow allow players to link their powers and defeat tougher monsters. Adding actual puzzles, riddles and such would be really cool too. Using your phones camera to see ghosts, scan for things and find hidden markings and clues. Possibly a system for players to create their own quests by placing item caches and hiring npcs. (It's just a dream, but if I ever win the lottery then maybe, haha..)

HIGH ENERGY SCORE/TIME ATTACK SUDOKU Whenever I play Sudoku I'm basically always time attacking with myself, and it rules. This game rewards combos, punishes being slow, and has shitloads of flair (awesome motorbikes doing wheelies when you do exceptionally well etc.). For those familiar with sudoku, you tap number buttons to make notes, and drag the numbers onto squares to put that number as the answer. I feel like this would help with the problems of playing sudoku on a tiny iPhone screen. I just decided to actually try to learn coding to attempt to make this, what do you guys think

Zelda Concentration...
Work through a sequence of dynamically-filled, shape-based dungeons (like Picross). The twist? In the end, they all form a rebus puzzle to solve ftw!

The monsters lurking just beyond the edge of town are getting braver, and you're the only one who realizes the signs that the world is in grave danger. You know what must be done, BUT YOU CAN'T DO IT!
You're an ineffectual little wisp of a sprite, charged with the grandest quest of all time. In this Action RPG simulation game, you must save the world using only your fluttering apparition, and above average volume of voice.
It's up to you to venture forth and rouse a hero from the herd to fight the forces of darkness. You must teach them the secrets only you can and show them the path to victory.
Cringe as the AI warriors battle, and flounder their way through hordes of enemies and mazes. Goad the lazy hero onward to the next area by reciting the most obvious of details.
Only the loyal will prevail in a land where it's dangerous to go alone... Watch over your chosen one and keep an eye out for danger in case you have to yell, Hey Listen

You play as a super soldier with a giant gun for an arm.
You go through your regular civilian life trying to deal with the everyday problems of having a giant gun for an arm.

A 2-player co-op game of sorts with no way to directly communicate with the other player. I'm visioning it with side-scrolling 2D platforming mechanics, but that's not a must.
You are connected to a game with a random player over the Internet. Your character is white and bright, their black and dark (or otherwise different). Your character can interact with white objects in the world, their with black ones.
You can either progress through a stage alone, ignoring the other player, but the ways you solve your puzzles and move blocks, pull levers etc. to proceed causes mischief in the other player's path. I'm thinking of some kind of optional branching paths with treasures that your actions block the other player's path to. There are also treasures they can reach only if you pull the right levers and push buttons in your "side" of the world.
But it also works the other way around.
You can either help the other player, and maybe they help you to reach the optional bonus stuff too. Or you can just ignore them and proceed to the objective, hampering their advancement, chances being that they'll do the same to you. You gain nothing directly if you help them, but you lose nothing either except for time and effort. You can either give them or take from them, but that doesn't directly affect you, only they have the power to either help you or block your branching paths.

GPS based pokemon clone iphone app. Just like the gameboy games except you run into wild pokemon just by walking around in a park. Maybe the rarest pokemon are in really hard to get to spots, like the top of a mountain. and you can challenge real people etc.
i don t know why nintendo hasnt already done something like this.

This probably has been done before
Your melee weapon is alive. It grows and evolves as it kills things, depending on what it kills it will grow. You can kill bad guys and have a saintly sword, you can kill good guys and have a wicked one - this will all be reflected in its appearance. They also misbehave if you doesn't respect you, and when they do they perform their best.
