I'm looking for a programmer (I'd like to use unity) who can help me develop my game "Mooka's Ancient Adventure"; a dinosaur themed, side-scrolling action platformer with Kirby-like power ups and Banjo-Kazooie inspired adventure/collect-a-thon elements.
Some art I made for this game:https://blairceradsky.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/scene-examp-21.pnghttps://blairceradsky.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/mooka.pngMy portfolio:https://blairceradsky.wordpress.com/Detail on this game's mechanics:https://blairceradsky.wordpress.com/2015/11/10/63/About me:I'm a 24 year old who's worked as the artist on many small hobbyist projects for about 6 years, and as the lead designer/artist of my own games for 3 years. I've worked on designing three 2D action platformer projects that have all sadly fallen apart as my programmers left for school and work related reasons. At this point I am very eager to finally see a game through to completion! Even though this is technically a hobby project as I can not currently pay you for your time; please do not consider working on this game if you are not willing to treat it like the part-time job that it is.
Production plan:We'd use Skype, Dropbox and Trello to steadily produce content and set big weekly goals for ourselves. I want to do progress updates on an official Twitter/Facebook/Tumblr each weekend to help further encourage us to meet these weekly goals and build interest in the game.
We may start a Patreon, Kickstarter or seek a publisher depending on the game's scale and type of reception, but for now we just need a good prototype. I want to eventually sell the game (windows/mac/linux) on steam.
Contact me:Feel free to contact me for more details on the game (I personally prefer skype).
