Hey y'all.

I've recently released my first track entiteld 'What the Fuck' as chippysthedoggy, an electronic music producer. Trying to fuck around with genre, and to an extent play around with nostalgia. There isn't too much 'authenticity' regarding the elements used to create the music (chiptune purists may find this tasteless) - but I am pretty happy with the end result. Even managed to shoehorn some hip-hop in there somehow.

Looking for anybody who'd be interested in having a play around with a video clip to the song, which I think really lends itself to visuals.

It's a song that I built using pxtone, the DAW developed by Pixel in the late 90's. Check out the history of pxtone here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PxTone

It took about three months to make, as the software is particularly labour-intensive. It has been a blast however and is way more satisfying than completing a track using a modern and up-to-date DAW. But you know whatever, there's probably something wrong with me.

I am also looking to create a short chippysthedoggy splash-animation to prelude my videos on my youtube channel. These videos are going to be screen captures of the pxtone play-through for the moment.

I was going to put this up on the commercial board (which I might do if there are no bites here) but after reading those 'PLEASE READ!!!' rules, I figured that I'd start here Smiley payment isn't necessarily out of the question however.

I am entirely inexperienced with animation and pixel art - so I don't know how long it would take to put a complete animated video clip together, I'd be perfectly happy at this stage to simply get some informed feedback / reality check from any specialists in this field, in order that I start preparing a budget, redirect my query elsewhere, etc. Feel free also to mention artists you know who may be available/interested.

Thanks in advance for checking out the song - I hope it conjures nice things and makes you all happy.

Love, chippysthedoggy
