Hellu guys. I'm trying to remember a movie and I thought you guys maybe can help. I know it's not exactly a movie forum around here, but it's pretty much the only community I hang out in.
I saw just a few minutes of the movie in question as a really small child, immediately cowering in fear in some corner afterwards. And I just can't seem to get that scene out of my head, so I figured I'd track down the movie and watch what it was all about in the first place.
So, it's most likely a horror movie, maybe science-fiction. The scene I remember has some middle-aged scientist dude (he was wearing a lab-coat, as far as I remember) frantically writing some gibberish (could be demonic letters, could be English, I was like 5) on a blackboard. A woman approaches the man and asks him what's wrong with him, when he turns around to her and horns (maybe pinchers) starts growing from his cheecks as he undergoes some sort of transformation.
That is also as much as I ever saw of this, as that scared the shit out of me.
I know this rather smallish information is not very helpful in finding it, but hey, maybe one of you goes "Oh, I JUST saw this movie yesterday". It's worth a try.
Come to think of it, though, it could've been the episode of a show, too, which'd make this even harder. I really only just remember this small tidbit.

I dunno, does anything of what I described actually happen in there? I looked at some clips but it didn't seem so

Haha, i know that I've seen it too at least Can't really help you, other than I'm a little bit more certain that it was a show, not a movie, but far from 100%... But you've repeaked my interest, I shall go digging as well!

It sounds like something that could happen in The Fly, but I haven't actually seen it.

Yeah, I was gonna guess The Fly too, though I actually only saw about half of it before I chickened out.

Heh, there are five movies based on The Fly and none of them is all that searchable on YouTube so that could be a hit alright.
And Dr. Who does sound pretty reasonable too, although I don't know if it got localized already way back when I saw it (Germany).
If it helps, the movie was definitely in color :D

Maybe Tales from the Crypt? That's the main horror-themed TV show that I remember.

It will be very difficult to find with just this description, it could be really any movie. All I can think of with this description is from beyond, but it's probably too old(80s) to be the movie.
