Some simple skeletal (?) animation in MMF2 (using lots of sinewaves and stuff)

The animation doesn't showed the legs angled right but it actually looks like this.

Not very pretty so far, but once I've finished a full skeleton (This is just the legs), I'll see what I can do with it Smiley

The picture is a British airliner above the cloud-tops of Venus, circa 1949. I'm having another go at making Venus Patrol (in my sig).

As an MMF 2 user I approve this wholeheartedly! Kiss

MMF2 IS THE DEVIL!...

That looks pretty rad.  I was playing around with skeletal animation for awhile but never figured out a good, reusable, and reliable system.

I'd like to have feet that can rotate 360 degrees.

Awesome walking things. Usually walks that are not animated by hand look like crap but these work well.

Discovered a game I've been putting off finishing for a while has to be finished by tonight.  Going to be an intense evening!

Your stage is too small, vertically. It cuts off before the bottom of the maze. Just FYI.

Oh that's weird: the html code is a bit strange.  Resizing the window should fix it, fwiw Tongue  Will try fix it now properly.

edit: fixed (thanks for the heads up)

Haha, sweet stuff, easyname!
Skeletal stuff isn't exactly easy in MMF2 (not that I'd know how easy it'd be otherwise), so good job, and good luck!

I like this. It made me feel strange and uncomfortable to leave keys behind doors when I didn't need them. I also started to resent the cat for distracting me from my collection of keys. But I liked that I resented the cat, which made me like the cat.

Holy crap these were a huge headache to get finished. I only had a small section of each from some WIP screenshots of a game I never finished and subsequently lost, and I wanted to redraw them, which meant hours of trying to use google image search with really vague terms through the fucking Chinese firewall to identify them and find references.
