Aniamtion loop for the jerk boyfriend in Level Up!  Then I did a time lapse video of me creating it on YouTube because my channel is barren an empty and I've been thinking about doing some real simple sprite/animation tutorials for a while.

Not all done today, just the cannon and the piss-poor texture job on the Saloon.

I'm still working out a decent lighting model in Unity - the damned thing wasn't designed for nicely angular flatshading, or at least I have yet to coax the engine into doing anything remotely like it.  *shrug*

Yesterday I created a diffusion simulator and today I used it as an excuse to make an SDL mouse handler and play with my shiny new tablet pc.

Programmer art ahead... Five framed animation from an exploding/melting block:

Haven't tested it in action yet, so could turn out to be just poop.  Concerned

I'd upload it, but it has no title screen or instructions blurb. Corny Laugh

This week I finally learned to use FBOs and created an optimization for the iPhone version of my game, which uses render-to-texture to avoid having to re-render redundant parts of the screen!

...it turned out to be slower than just re-rendering those parts of the screen was in the first place, so once I got it working I turned it off permanently

Today I created an ipod station.
There are a bunch on instructables.com so I thought I'd give it a shot.

The hardest part was hooking two speakers to one headphone jack.
I used two peanut cans to enclose the speakers/wires. They really affect the sound.  Hand Thumbs Up Right
(not that advanced, but I'm pretty proud of it.  next is to create an amplifier)

I also finished editing an inventory I found on gmc.  It had plenty of bugs, but I fixed them.
I removed the mouse controls it used and threw in my own selection system using arrow keys to move your selection and z and x to use each item.  It's tons better than the original.  I pretty much rewrote the entire system.
