Rolled my own A* search algorithm, and it works! Naturally that's nothing special to you programming genii out there, but for me it's kind of a big deal. :-)

I've been working on porting Flixel to C# using OpenTK for the past week or two. Progress is slow but steady. Yesterday I programmed my own FlxImage class. Flixel uses embedded flash assets for images. In stand alone C# applications you can't use that method, and need to configure your images to be used as OpenGL textures. The FlxImage class takes a string variable for the path of the image, generates the OpenGL texture, and stores information you might need later, such as the image's width and height.

It's getting smaller and smaller. Aim in a straight line within 8 meter. Stops flying at 15 meters.

Today I finished creating a program with GUI using Assembly Language. For a person who has been programming on high level languages, Assembly is just too much! >.<

Oh, that's funny: As a C/C++ dev I'm confused by concept-driven highlevel languages.

Even though I'm a programmer, I have decided to try my luck at making some art for Solaro. This is a missile launcher thingy. It's got a normal map and a bump map, and the idea is that you'll be able to change the color of the orange stripe, to match your ship.

A friend of mine made this awesome song, and he asked me if I wanted to make a picture for it. I thought it'd be fun to do, so after like four hours or more in GIMP, here is the result, containing his nickname, the name of the song, tiny credits to myself and, finally a little portrait of him: He gave me the song, and I put the image as album cover art. Looks awesome in the iPhone:

Well, it wasn't just today, but I finished it off today.... A stained glass Ubuntu logo! (it's oriented incorrectly in the pic, and I think i got the order of the colors slightly wrong... but close enough).
