I've scaled back all the features that were too difficult to implement in my game DreamCasters' Duel. So now it's a comic book.

Redesigned my CCCG (Cute Customization Card Game):

Combination of Programmer art, photography, DaFont Fonts, and seperate placeholder art; everything is finally starting to finish up.

Feel free to puke rainbows if you wish, I'm a girly girl and when I make a CCG this is what comes out.

Finished retouching some code my friend made.
He added an ally and made the code for it's weapon so un-modular and I doubt he referenced the damage values for the weapons.
That's fixed.
Also I added two new weapons, a new type of crate, a new mob, weather effects, and added a little bit more to the player randomization system.

I'm pretty happy how the back came out. The front is ok, but I don't really like the side view (even without the arm and leg snapping). I see now that I forgot hip- and sholder-movement, so that's probably that. Guess he probably gets unrealistically close to the ground too. We'll see if I'll redo that later!

Thanks for being nice you guys! Really appreciate it.

(Also made a mockup of how the interface of the game might look. Very WIP.)

(For some reason it's not animating properly for me on the forum, if somebody's curious, you might have to open the picture in it's own tab.)

cross-post.
Just finished making the menu system for Super Mafia DuDeS.
Wasn't too terribly difficult, thankfully.

I'm not going to lie, I'm not a big fan of your artistic style. But at the same time, a mock-up like this one really shows how the whole thing can work together. Taken as a whole, the presentation actually has its own kind of charm about it. I like the design you're using for the interface as well.

Keep it up, I think this is going somewhere.

I love the style. It reminds me a bit of The Journey Down.

I love the style.

The style is very rough, with an almost schoolbook doodle quality to it. It comes across as a bit unpolished.

But I like the approach much more when I see it on top of the background he sketched. The environment uses the same style, but the greater degree of content it provides gives it a chance to explore the style a bit more. The exaggerated curve of the streets outside the window add a bit of whimsey, as do the lines of the woodgrain on the floor. Seeing all the elements together make the simple charm of a more primitive drawing style apparent. That's why I didn't encourage Simon to change his approach. The overall composition is working.
