you're in luck.  Ironically (or not) I see a therapist and through the production of Au Sable she encouraged me to bring in versions so we could inspect the roots of where my imagery comes from.  Like, what the places or figures could symbolize me mentally struggling with.  Big suprise, I've fought with overhwelming depression and anxiety for a long time.  Shocked

So the "ugly-work" is a catharsis for me.  But since I'm feeling pretty good, the next game will be something more "light" and maybe even wacky.  Who knows?  I'm sure I'll make more spooky stuff tho.  It's fun to scare the pants off myself.

If someone kills you and you have the machine gun (2nd weapon) we see the shotgun-sprite falling down together our dying redhead heroine.

Played. Beat it. It's creepy, but I remain undisturbed by it (though it seems that it takes a lot of throughly creep me out.) But yea, I still think it's pretty creepy. I myself can't seem to BE creepy. Oh well.

I enjoyed it! Continue making such games Amon26! GO FOR THE DISTANCE!

Just noticed a glitch. On the last boss if you continually run past her, you get stuck in the column that appears. You can't shoot out of it and you can't be hit within it.

For reference, this is what I'm talking about:


Sorry if this has already been noted/fixed. I just noticed it on my playthrough now.

Tried version 1.20
"Shotgun falling glitch" removed, but I can still get stuck on the last column (glitch reported by Kramlack).

Thanks for the heads up Apprauuu and Naac.  I'll be making a patch to fix both of these in a couple days.

The music really gives great atmosphere! And the character is very unique with the help of the hair movement.   Beer!

Ah, quick sidenote.  I'm going on a "secret mission" next week so the next patched Au Sable will come out after the 22nd.  Folks having issues, hang in there, I haven't forgotten about you.
