http://chockcock.mybrute.com

Chockcock comes from the barren east, were he was brought up by a band of thug cocks. From the day he left his mother's womb (by punching through her stomach) he fought his enemies in the great cock fight arenas for the right to feed on the jugs of Big Mama Lotsoftits.
At the age of 1, breast milk was no more sufficient for him, and since that day he's been feeding on eye-juice drain from slain enemies.
He's known as Chockcock for his ability to chock and surprise his opponents by handing them a present (usually a box of Lord Fornsworth Extra Dry Chocolate Nidbits), before ruthlessly punching a hole through their face.
NOT THE FACE, I hear you cry! Yes the FACE. Such is the way of Chockcock.

If it's just some sort of pyramidal scheme, then it's not so funny anymore...

I always disliked these games that require you to "refer" people or make other people click some link to strengthen your character pet.

In my old forum games like that usually started really silly trends where people put their stuff in their signature with some line ala "click me" or even more devious stuff like "Get Leaked Beta of game here".

Or someone remember those Dragon egg things? You get a dragon egg that only grows if enough people click it. Otherwise they die. So everyone was having a dozen of these dragon images in his signature with begs for other people to click them.

Hey, I want to make sure of something. Masna, I just attacked you and beat you - did you get exp for it?

If so, that means we can increase our overall levelling speed by only battling other TIGers, am I right?

Only I feel bad about attacking someone who's one level below me... Sad

I always enjoy these little browser games (like Ikariam), but I'm always disappointed with them.  Either they're too casual and require very little input (like My Brute) or can take up too much time.  Will we every find a balance?  I feel like this medium is seriously unrealized, some creative minds could come up with a really cool and interesting game mechanics.

Like My Brute is cute but it's fairly random and you have too little control.  It would be cool if you could have your own avatar that you would "program" in some rudimentary way, and so you wouldn't be directly involved with the fights but you would have more influence than My Brute (hell it could be My Brute you just pick what items to use).  You don't level up but only got more options, though I suppose the hard part with that is balance.

I've had a similar idea ^. The character would adventure on its own, but an alarm would go off once the character returns to home base/town. The player has a few minutes to purchase equipment, potions, etc, and maybe spend level up points. Then the character runs off into the wild to grind again. Upon character creation you'd set race, psychology, etc. A character which doesn't take risks will level up slower because it will grind low level monsters and spend a lot of time walking home to base. A brave or foolish character might die more (returning to base empty handed). You'd also be able to set fav/hated enemy type and environment, and in such a way indirectly control where the character goes. E.g.

Name----------: Uluthióndor Anaeraóthoinir.
Race----------: Elf.
Psychology----: Brave borderline foolish.
Strong against: Bug type enemy.
Weak against--: Elemental type enemy.
Homelands-----: Desert.

There could be more initial stats of course. The map would be divided into sections with  danger levels. A brave L-10 character might consider roaming into a L-13 map section.
