Kero Blaster is the most fun I've had in an iOS platformer. It's got great touch controls, it's fun, and is full of charm. A worthy peer of Cave Story from Pixel, and a must-have for the device as far as I'm concerned. https://itunes.apple.com/app/id867598817

My team and I just updated our mobile game Big Action Mega Fight! this week! It's a touch-controlled arcade fighting game combined with score-focused precision. We like to think of the game as a spiritual mobile successor to the Streets of Rage. We also have other versions available! Check it out!

MUJONifty take on matching by Oink Games, who are primarily known for their really tasty-looking card and board games. Basically you can either tap groups of 3 or more to spend them, or hold down on them to collapse them into a single block, increasing their value by a lot. Swords are used to attack the enemy, treasure chests to obtain new gods and items, and everything else is used to power up your gods. The gods add to your attack strength and also have special abilities that manipulate the board. What's interesting is that there doesn't seem to be a game over state. You basically keep playing and playing to see how far you can get. EDIT:Desert GolfingA very relaxing, endless (?) golfing game by our very own Justin Smith (Enviro-Bear 2000).

It's probably been said before, but Hook Champ is actually the most incredible iOS game I've ever played.

Dream Quest is hands down one of the ugliest commercial games ive ever played, but damn is it good. and it's not really like anything else. it's a cross between a deckbuilding game and a "roguelike"(likelikelikelike). basically you crawl through single screen dungeon floors while engaging in card based battled with enemies, building your deck and leveling up. it's very difficult too, lots of tough decisions about which cards to take and so on. also because enemies have different resistances and special abilities, you're going to get your ass kicked pretty hard if you try to base your deck around a single OP combo (as is so often the case with deckbuilders). you have to keep it flexible. it's really strange tho, because contrary to what the "babbys first game maker game" graphics would have u believe, the UI design, the music and even the writing are all pretty good (this is not ur standard fantasy schlock).

80 Days is a phenomenally well-realised piece of interactive storytelling.
