Fuck yeah!

But tell me, do we get to see the whole work that came before us, or just the rooms immediately preceding ours?

Ok then, I'm in it to win it

Edit: while peeking through inform I found out something, if you go into preferences and make sure that 'Also clean out index files' is unchecked, the index is exported as a series of html files when you run the game. The world index page contains all the objects in the game in an a-z order, this can be exported and sent along. Alternatively we could do this where each person gets to see everything that preceded them. This allows for more complex puzzles as you don't need to use all your objects in your section and you can allow later people to think of a use for your 4 armed doll or whatever object is useless in your section.

Yeah, I like the way Solved suggests it. We could leave 'hooks' for other writers in the form of objects with no use, or puzzles with no solution. Plus a few notes explaining roughly what you were thinking of with each hook.

Yeah, I think this could work quite well like that.

Hello! I figure, since this thread has gone off the first page, it's not likely to get many new people signing up and we might as well start it off. If you feel a powerful urge to join, just ask, we can just stick you onto the end, no problem at all!

Xander is first, of course, and I've already notified him of the starting so hopefully we'll have something entertaining in a time period less than, you know, a year Wink

Well, there's the first piece I guess!

Rooms
Road

Objects
Owl
Rail Tracer

I was definitely not that great at this, haha! But it was quite fun, looking forward to everyone elses pieces. Don't feel bad if you're new to this, I've set the bar quite low.
