Is it just me, or have the comment threads on the TIGsource frontpage been totally insane recently? What's up with everyone?

Hey, don't look at me, I don't open many comment threads myself. I just contribute to then. It's not so much here I was talking about, but the www.tigsource.com frontpage. First the 200+ comments arguing about whether or not VVVVVV was worth $15, and now some total tardfest about whether or not some guy who made a game is a bad person or not. The latest thread has actually been locked. I don't remember seeing that on the front page before.

I've got a question that surely doesn't warrant a new thread. I downloaded some Youtube videos of an Elliott Smith concert, and I was wondering how I'd be able to switch the MPEG-4 files into mp3s.

There is a scaringly huge amount of hits on Google for the following keywords: "MPEG-4 to mp3" "youtube video to mp3" I am detecting traces of scam there, be careful.

Heh the scam part is what make me wary, I'm not sure on which one to use. On a less sad panda note, this will be my 400th post.

Dudes! The original Aliens Versus Predator PC game was just re-released on steam for $5!!! It isn't a half-assed dumping of the original release like the Jedi Knight games, either, because it's been re-jiggered to run on modern computers. Multiplayer isn't working yet but it will be soon.

I just watched this incredibly inspirational video about a Chinese woman who was born without arms and basically does everything with her feet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4xB4WtHFX0I think the most amazing part was seeing her thread a needle with her feet and then do beautiful stitchwork... she can also use chopsticks, break and egg, cook, write, etc.

That Chinese woman with no arms is amazing! This is probably one of the most, eh, appalling and eye-opening videos I have ever seen. It is about North Korea's treatment of people, and about a guy who was born, raised, and eventually escapes a concentration camp. It is horrible that concentration camps, as bad as or worse than the concentration camps of WWII, exist THIS VERY DAY and countries refuse to take action because it is unprofitable to do so. I seriously doubt the concentration camps in WWII would have been done away with if it hadn't been profitable to do so. Sickening.

Good news, everyone! It's my birthday today!
Bad news is my GAMMA entry will likely never be done. Real life will out, unfortunately.
