Been kinda curious about the game. Love the character visuals. But between my lack of free hdd space and some TotalBiscuit's review, Im wonder if it is worth trying. |

I am so totally annoyed at the state of the android app store. Google don't know jack yo about selling a product. Most of their stuff became the most popular simply because they innovated first and people stayed with them.
There's this divide between the average teen who just wants to play Dead Trigger and buy games and the open source nut that wants to have root access so he can control his NAS from his lock screen.
Even though I give apple a ton of crap for so tightly moderating their app store... It really seems to have helped them and their target customers in the long run, pushing developers to make titles of a certain quality. Of course, leaving the open source nut pissed off at Apple, but who cares? Not shareholders.
Plus the whole layout and design of the play store on-device completely sucks. It's visually ugly, it looks like a graphic design student traveled from 2004 via time machine, got hired straight away and went to town.
I guess bottom line, google is trying to be too many things at once, for too many customer demographics, and is doing it somewhat half assed.
I don't like Apple as a company, but I do miss the app store. I miss the interface of iOS. I miss the good design choices.
sigh.

I'm not that pleased with the IOS appstore either. Why are games like "Cut the Rope" and "Jetpack Joyride" constantly featured on the news page? Yeah, the IOS appstore buries a lot of good apps too.

If you're asking how to get that exact image with the play button, then I get it from the embedded video on my blog. I'm not sure if you can get it directly from your YouTube channel in any way, since they always start auto-playing there. |
