browsing my kickstarter viewing history and noticed soundself updated it's faq: What makes SoundSelf different from a music visualizer?
We have in common with music visualizers use of mesmerizing abstract imagery - so this comparison isn't surprising. But where visualizers enrich your music or hang out in the background, SoundSelf's voice-based interaction lulls you into a full-body hypnotic trance by slowing down your breathing and taking advantage of some loopholes in the way you perceive and analyze audio/visual sensation. I really don't know what to make of this. Do I laugh or what?

Minecraft's boring anyway and TF2 leaves me more furious than satisfied. Finally deciding to get back in business. ("What business? You never did actually make a game yet, PƷ.")

I was designing a game about transport (something like a Transport Tycoon). Then the more I thought about it, I realized that it's probably less effort to just build an actual transport company. Decent programmer/designers are harder to find than bus drivers and train engineers. And gov probably wouldn't bail out a failing game company. Ha, good find.

you're dealing with simulating the human behavior, so it's nothing wrong thinking that, cause you don't have to program them, you just pay them.

Oh boy, Supergiant Games is working on a new thing:
Kind of disappointed it looks so similar to Bastion, but I'm stoked anyway.

Looks great, with an intriguing setting. The conceptual design of the enemies is a lot more interesting than Bastion's--not that those were bad, but these actually look really interesting, not just your sort of average baddies. Like the monsters in the Metroid Prime trilogy. Guess I'm mildly hyped for this.

meh, i'm kinda unimpressed. Same goes to their trailer in Bastion. But then Bastion is great, so maybe it just the trailer.

There are two Stellar's Jays building nests in the hedge in my backyard. Both males, two separate nests. It's a regular bluejay neighborhood

Really shows how slow paced, cutsene-y and consolized RE 6's gameplay is when you put the fast paced FPS characters from Left 4 Dead 2 into it ..
