(btw. love Tekken4's fluid side movement system and overall fluidity, the best in the series, they should've kept it and balance it out with the move-sets)
They kinda reintroduced this in tekken 6 and it killed the side movement strafe and punish making the game more 2d.

Tekken6 just felt a little more fluid than T5 but it wasn't the T4 system. Tekken4 was the most 3D Tekken, so to speak. The big problem I see is to balance out the sheer quantity of fighters. The only reason they exist has to be the fans who are screaming for them. The reduced set of fighters in Tekken4 opened the opportunity to focus on quality instead of quantity (which doesn't imply the fighters were balanced, of course).

I wish I could replace the standard programming terms of 'true' and 'false' to 'yes' and 'no'

microsoft really wants me upgrade to windums 10, but fuck that shit. why would i ever want to upgrade when win7 does everything i want and 10 is probably going to be a buggy mess for the first couple months? im gonna remain on win7 for as long as it's feasible. i upgraded (from xp to 7 a couple months before 8 came out because i basically had to). I guess that's the reason you have a block button in Soulcalibur , deadoralive and Virtual fighter. Wasn't that naturel to back block when it made you strafe at the same time. And for crouching you had to hold back/down . Tekken 4 was the slowest tekken. The big problem I see is to balance out the sheer quantity of fighters. The only reason they exist has to be the fans who are screaming for them. Don't you hate it when you can't play a character you loved anymore? no fighting game will ever be balanced.

I want to point out that a modern society who aspire to be pacifics such as our literraly try to have the cake and eat it, let's celebrate violence while pointing a finger at it, it's like guilt tourism by that point, so bad it's good, guilt trip is like watching horror movie, experience safe easy emotion with a veneer of deepness to pat ourselves on the back there was worth in it.

Wasn't that naturel to back block when it made you strafe at the same time. And for crouching you had to hold back/down .Tekken 4 was the slowest tekken. Blocking and strafing was orthogonal to each other (back opposed to up), there was no problem with all that. I would argue that Tekken4 was one of the faster Tekken (unless you play it on 50hz screens in 50hz mode). The first Tekken Tag Tournament was certainly a lot slower (too slow in my opinion).

I remember hating it. (maybe the fact that you couldn't juggle the same way as before) And for TTT1 , indeed it was really slow on console , was used to the arcade version (they kept the same engine as tekken 3).
