One of these days I'll (or someone) will have to make a stuffed-animal topic. I'd have so many fuzzy-wuzzies to talk about. My parents really like stuffed animals, so they've actually been helping me in my quest to cherish the cute fuzzy toys I've collected. And I still buy "new" ones too. ...most of them I bought second-hand and just put through a few wash cycles but they were still good! I got one teddy bear that is about 3-4 feet tall.

Me and my sis had MASSIVE amounts of those beanie baby things. We'd play elaborate games with them. It was awesome.

I recently got back from a camping trip with my old Boy Scout troop, and got to tag along with the younger kids as they went swimming. On one of the nights, the boys were sitting around eating dinner, and the subject of videogames were brought up. They rattled off all of the stuff they knew about Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 and whatnot, and I just listened for a little while. Pokemon got brought up, and I asked them if they knew the secret behind the original Legendary Pokemon- Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. That blew all of their minds, and one thing led to another, and I ended up retelling all the little bits of videogame lore that I could recall, like how Atari buried unsold copies of E.T. in a landfill in New Mexico; how Nintendo used to be a trading card company before they got into games; how Shigeru Miyamoto himself was a Boy Scout. I felt a bit like a wise old geek, passing on the myths and tales of our tribe onto the next generation.

I just discovered that there is no real difference between my awesome but old and broken Acer LCD screen and a newer TFT. Damnit, I was in, say, about 5 shops to look for available LCD screens (thought they look better on lower resolutions, what they probably still do) and found only widescreen TFTs. Widescreen is OK for gaming, but I always thought TFTs can't have different resolutions than their native one. Means that I'm now ready to buy new hardware for my gaming rig

I just got a DS Lite! Can anyone recommend some old/cheap/underrated games for it? I'm already looking at Rocket Slime and Rhythm Heaven...

Tingle game is only in Europe. Korg Ds-10 is cool if you're into that sort of thing. Worms Open Warfare 2 is the best Worms game since Armageddon. N+ is good.

Tingle's game sounds really interesting- DS is region-free, right? Oh, and then there's this: This is my old Gameboy, a GBA SP with a custom paint-job by yours truly. The thing is, since I'm not planning on using it anymore, I'd like to give it a good home. The L trigger is a little sticky, but other than that it works perfectly fine. I'll even include my copy of Pokemon Gold (the battery still works- checked it again this morning) and a link cable. If you're interested in bartering, send me a message. In the meantime, I'm thinking what I'm going to do with the DS...

Doki Doki Majo Shinpan!...just joking. Eheh? Seriously, though...If you're up for rhythm games, Elite Beat Agents has a style all its own, and you can probably get it really cheap now. Drawn to Life is a platformer where your drawings get used in the game. And Meteos is an awesome puzzle game.

Not really. It's pretty much common knowledge, actually.

Honestly, I find it impressive that you've managed to dodge that spoiler this long.
