Hypothetical Common knowledge amongst lawmakers: It's the internet. Of course they won't get together and fight against it. What's most likely going to happen is this. Someone posts it on twitter, then facebook, then somewhere else. Before you know it, it goes viral. Then the 4chans get involved. And everyone agrees that they must do something. However, they'll be so steeped in argument and hysteria and lolcats and tumblrs that by the time they mobilize it'll already be too late and we've shut down their anti-sopa regulation sites. It's that easy!

Na. I think they always are like this. I appreciate the somewhat chillax atmosphere.
I appreciate also when the chairman answered the questions "How late will we be here tonight? and will dinner be provided?" with the simple statement "Late, and yes."
otherwise heard by me as, "BUCKLE DOWN BITCHES! WE GETTIN SHIT DONE TONIGHT! I ORDERED PIZZA!"

Well, people who oppose it try to present amendments to make it work rather than argue about it not getting passed at all. That one woman is the only one saying intelligent and informed things (also the other guy right now talking about YouTube and Facebook), but no one takes her seriously because they listen to steadfastly to lobbyists. |

I don't know if I disagree with him. But sheesh. He's a dick.
After the amendment he was supporting was disregarded he asked for a recess until tomorrow.
Translation: "Well, my stuff is done. I don't care about this anymore. Can we all be done until tomorrow? Can I leave now?"
Such an impatient, disrespectful dick.
EDIT EDIT EDIT: Yeps, Mr. Chairman, he means business. He was serious when he said "late".
