Okay, come on. It got Crow from The Longest Journey.

Hah, finally stumped him with Inspector James Burton from the Casebook series.

Think outside of references familiar to average internet nerds (i.e it will probably guess most anime characters, but it will still be a bit weak on historical characters for example)

Whew, beat him for the second time with John Perrot, Lord Deputy of Ireland and illegitimate son of Henry the Eighth. 2 for 2.

It feels good losing a couple of pounds and trying to not be a total fat ass.

Hey Derek, it knows you.

I'd use the pun but you're probably sick of it by now.

I played around with it! Started beating it consistently near the end. It's really good!

I find it fascinating just which characters it gets right, and how the questions lead up to the result if it does. Of course, it's very obvious and logical how it works, but still very cool.

I just tried Prince LaCroix from Vampire Bloodlines. Of course, some of the first questions ("Is he human?", "Is he an animal?") already paved the way, but then out of nowhere the question "Does he rub shoulders with vampires?" baffled me, and from then on it was already pretty clear.

Dexter Morgan was also cool.
"Is the character's name in the title?" - damn.., "Does your character have a sister?" - uh oh, you're getting there.., "Is your character a murderer?" - Dang, got me Grin

Now I don’t want to go cause some religious argument here, but I think I can safely assume most everyone here is not insane / extremely ignorant. Those are the only two explanations I have for this:

Very cool. Guessed 4 out of 7 correctly. The more "mainstream" your guess, the easier it'll be guessed correctly. Seems to me that it works like a sort of binary search tree, starts very general and just narrows it down as it goes. Not that mystical, but very well programmed.

EDIT: I just said what most people already said xD

In other news just thought I'd say that Adam Atomics Canabalt was mentioned in the Guardian Newspaper today in an article about how video games are not accepted as a "proper" media (e.g. like TV) Thought it was great that his game was getting even wider recognition.

I just watched Black Dynamite.  If you live in the states and you happen to be somewhere it's playing, GO SEE IT IMMEDIATELY!  It's the funniest movie I've seen in years.

Why the hell can't such awesome films get wide releases?  This is the second movie I've seen just this year where I've walked out of the screening thinking that the film would do really well if they'd just release it wide and put an ad on TV.  The first one was Moon, and Moon I can kinda understand why they'd shy away from releasing it wide.  It's kinda slow and more about the characters than anything else.  Not exactly a popcorn flick.

Black Dynamite would absolutely make $100 Million plus if they'd release it wide.  Every scene is completely awesome.
