FLCL is some of the weirdest shit I've seen thus far.
I watched that recently. It doesn't make a bit of sense but it's strangely awesome. Me and my buddy re-watched that all last night. Its so great. :D

Hmm, thinking about doing an art activity workshop thinger this summer (probably starting late June). Anything ya'll fellow artists want to work on beyond anatomy basics and shit? Maybe... Pixel art? :O
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full! *furious nodding* ... Well, you know how it turned out last time you did a workshop... So it's up to you.

The more I watch it, the more I feel like the bizarro imagery means... something about manhood or growing up as a geek or whatever. I dunno, but the music still rocks after all these years.

I just got power back after losing it on Wednesday during the storms here in Alabama. Made me reflect on those poor people in Japan who went weeks without power. It's kinda surprising how little information from the outside world we were getting. I have to catch up with a week's worth of news.
Gonna give my water heater a little while to work it's magic and then I'm gonna shower, shave and go find a Taco Bell. Then I'll feel normal again.
Was there anyone else here that got hit by that storm? There were something like 150 tornadoes in a 12 hour period or something. One of them took out the main line at the nuclear reactor. I think a lot of people were freaked out by that news after all the shit that's gone down in Japan. The first day or so without power had a kinda panicky feeling to it. People running around buying up whatever they could get their hands on from whatever stores were open, lots of wrecks because people were just driving through the dead traffic lights, lots of trees and debris in the roads. There are no more batteries, gas generators, propane, ice, no water (at least for the first couple of days) and a number of other things in Huntsville or in a 20 or so mile radius around the county. I guess we got it kinda light, tho. I've seen photos of the surrounding areas and some of these little towns here got flattened.
Staring up at the stars at night with no sound of traffic and no light whatsoever was exceedingly creepy to me.
