Basically, the ISPs will be "tracking" your downloads for content, but instead of pressing charges, they'll be tightening the hose of your bandwidth. Yes, it has ISP support.

I see Phubans is in the mood for St. Patrick's day, whenever that is. He's probably too drunk to find his blue armor again.

don't a lot of ISPs do that already, limiting your bandwidth for torrents and other file sharing stuff?

Probably a lot to do with Minecraft, but also Java is the de-facto language for intro computer science classes, so a lot of people know it from school.

Pretty much my origin. If it's a C-like language, why don't they teach C or C++ to begin with as well? Because Java can produce applets too?

I'll ask one of my professor's that very question this fall. I'm curious too.
I think it's because to get "something" going in C/C++ is not necessarily "as hard", but would require either explaining or (trying) to ignore certain more advanced concepts early on.

Also: changed my name from jakman4242 to Jack Sanders. seriously sick of people calling me jakman. So, yes.

This seems to happen once every year or something on a rotation basis.
Some people put their usernames back, and some never do, like Paul Eres and Alex May (iirc)
