Don't get too excited, I don't think crowd funding will ever get to the point where they can fund AAA titles.
Besides, this thing will work until some douchebag inevitably runs away with the money, it will probably happen.

also crowdfunding only works for certain types of games i think. i dont believe you could crowdfund a game intended for a casual/nongamer audience for instance.
