^ Shelby's reaction to finding out Powder was the inspiration behind  Gomez's character design.

Also, I'm kind of starting to wish there was a way to turn off usernames. It feels like I'm judging people's posts by who they are- A good post from a low-level no-name is just looked over, while a high-level mediocre post is enjoyed.
I gauge people by [average post quality] * [post count], which leaves high level posters who consistently make bad posts the worst off.

For the record, the member two posts above this post has held the title of Worst TIGForum Poster for over a year now (the post itself not helping the situation in the least).

Quote from: Martin Luther Ashkin
I have a dream that four little manbabies will one day post on a forum where they will not be judged by the number of their posts but by the content of their posts

Yes that's all very well and good, but ethos is an important part of communication. I wouldn't want read a bunch of posts by unidentified anons just because a few of us can't control our post-count discrimination

I was thinking more of a setting rather than a mandatory 'everyone is anonymous' thing. Maybe just a thing to remove the level counters would help.

Wondering how I could add gamepad support to a Game Maker game, and I know it's possible. Anyone who's done it:

-What controller did you use?
-What DLL, if any?

thanks

i just use JoyToKey. it's much easier than programming the stuff into your game. you just use whatever controller that works and configure it yourself.

There are times that I would prefer the app to support it natively tho.

If you want to add gamepad support to your own game, Game Maker has built in game-pad support afaik as I know. It involves some polar coordinates though if you want to get proper input from sticks though. I used Logitech dual action or something.

But if you are talking about someone elses game, then JoytoKey or similar software are probably the best bet.
