That was dumb. A lot of people involved in Pirate Bay and the Swedish Piracy Party seem like major twats.

You can't really support piracy. On the other hand piracy it has contributed to a certain democracy and made it so that the people have great access to a lot of information.

Analogies only work so much. They only work to explain stuff, they don't work to prove anything because they break easily. You can't pressure the body to fix the fungus, but you can pressure a company to change their policies and stop bullshit like that.

afaik the security company was hired by the temp agency contracted by amazon, so it's not totally their fault.

but i still think amazon is to blame for choosing to work with the agency and either a) not background checking them or b) not giving a shit, so im still going to boycott them at least until they get this sorted out and issue some kind of public apology.

i'm not sure about non-germans joining the boycott but i figured i'd still post it here because we have a few german members. (i'm austrian but i use german amazon)
