I haven't seen a whole lot on this forum about Papo & Yo, and I haven't played it either. I can't say how successful it is, but I think it's approach and purpose are admirable. I listened to an interview with it's creator Vander Caballero on a Destructoid livestream, video found here or here for work-friendly podcast. He says some pretty powerful stuff about the reasons to make games and the games he personally wants to create and see more of. (He's indie enough for me anyway)

There's not much talk about the show itself, Sup Holmes? which is a little odd since has been focusing on and out-and-out promoting indie and experimental games and devs. Though I'm not that surprised, as soon as the focus turns from the game to the developer this forum gets cruel and ruthless. Anyway it's for sure worth a watch/listen.

it depresses me that dead space 1 could be confused with pure horror when SH2 and RE1 were only in the last decade. pure horror never really got the chance to move forward, the franchises just became action games (I am not saying we need bad controls)...

Apparently Japanese tired of those anime shaky boobs, so they put the myth to the test. You know, for science. (NSFW, not naked, just bra, but still...)

Yay. Freebird games, the guys who made To the Moon, have announced it's prequel.

Does anyone know of any good free online math curriculum/lesson series?
If it worked it's way through high-school type stuff (algebra stuff) on up to more complex junk that would be ace.

I am way behind on math. Even a refresher of simple math (multiplication, division) would be good for me I think.

I spose I could always find some textbooks.

What about Khan Academy? There's a lot of math stuff there, and there are a variety of levels covered.

1)Looks like its time to dig out the old action replay.

2)Second Khan Academy, It has definitely helped me out before

3)I was extremely (pleasantly) surprised that I didn't pay a duty on a book sent from Europe to Canada. Sometimes when you get a product shipped from the US to Canada the duty is like half the cost.
