I liked this. Bite-sized metroidvania, so cute. I didn't think that the graphics were offensive at all, they're very simple and they get the job done. The title screen illustration and the ending one could use some more work, though. The difficulty is pretty much perfect, for me; took me like ten tries to finish it, and it will take me more to do it with a better rank. The spoilers didn't bother me at all, they added to the sense of discovery.

I think you can squeeze out a tune for this. You'll feel so proud for it!

Oh my god.  I'm mildly retarded.

I didn't realize you had to kill the eye a second time after downing the boss....

Fun stuff. Keeping up with the times, I too made a video of my playthrough, this one's A rank. It was my maybe sixth or seventh attempt at the game.

Lol for the longest time I didn't know how to kill the boss. I would punch it once so that it fell to the ground but then I'd try to punch the invisible thing still shooting at me.

4:14 left, A rank.

Only took about 10 minutes, I noticed that you can get the super punch without the regular one, shaving seconds off your clear time.

Great game!  In fact, I liked it so much that I got an account on this site just to say so.

Is there anything above rank A?

I was feeling inspired so I threw together a little 30-second chiptune (so it loops twice Wink) for your game. Smiley Feel free to use it, or not, as you like!

.IT file download

EDIT: Rank C by the way, 1:32 left.

OSHI- Sorry, somebody else already contacted me about music. Thanks anyway, though. And, uh... how do you play .it files?

Oh, yeah they are, winamp plays them too but there's no guarantee they'll sound right (eg. vibrato triggers sometimes cause a note to stop, etc). That's cool you've already found a musician though, I was just playing around and came up with that in about 10 minutes. Smiley
