hi,

Here is my second game ! (1st one was just for young kids)
http://www.spacejelly.com/

just finished. Only had a couple of friends testing.
My main concern is that players might not understand the goal or the way to play Sad

The game was inspired by dicewars and nanowars.
I tried to keep it simple like dicewars, but maybe, I failed..

here is a screenshot:

your feedback is very welcome  Smiley

I played it for a while, but I couldn't understand the controlling system totally. It seemed like my blobs moved where I made those targets, but I wasn't sure how I could use this as my advance. Perhaps you could explain it a bit here?

thank you for testing !

Actually, you can create any number of red targets.
you can link them (drag&drop) in any ways. both directions are also possible.

you can add or delete them using the rollOver "menu" (plus and minus)
but you can also add or remove them by dragging them "out" of the star or back to the star.
I added that rollOver menu because lots of my friends did not find how to create or delete targets.

you can also simply add a target by clicking on the scene.

to win, you have to go on the others' star. that will drop their life.
the last one alive win (classic...)

small bonuses are important (blue stuff). you can check the help (top right).
once you bring one of them back to your star, you get more life, attack or defense.

I could do with an explanation of what all those powerups are about. Also, it would be nice if the targets that I placed on powerups would vanish on their own once one of my bubbles has nabbed the powerup; I oftentimes place one down, forget about it, then look back and notice a whole bunch of bubbles just hanging out there.

it probably depends on players.
Some will not want to loose the targets on the powerup. Especially when you have to follow your bubble that bring back home the powerup. it's usefull to protect it sometimes.
In the Team Mode, you can "use" your team members to protect your powerup. usually, they do it pretty well.

thank you for the feeedback !

Actually, the explanation of the powerup in the help popup was suficient for you ?

yes, if you click on the small 'help' (top right corner).
now (you will need to refresh the page, or empty your cache), I show the help popup at start also.
maybe better..
