Maybe it's reverse psychology?

Hey, dude!  Your game sucks!  Don't make any more games!

There, now he will probably make like ten sequels.  And I will play them all.

This was a really fun game.

That's basically my whole message.

I liked the concept, you executed it very well, all's good and dandy.

I'm interested to see what Chessmine: The Shores of Hell will be like.

Yeah, that's a sweet name for a sequel. Take your time and do as much as you can with it. That's all I ask.

I don't feel much like taking my time or doing as much as I can with it, sorry. Trying to make a truly good game out of this would be like wringing blood from a particularly ugly stone, so instead I just did what I did for the first game and threw together some stuff.

Here is the second game, it doesn't even have sound. I tried writing some music but it turned out pretty poorly, even by Chessmine standards.

It's 50% longer than the original Chessmine so if you were a fan of the original you might like this? I tossed the original style out the window and it's mostly got some weird timed puzzles though so I don't know maybe not.

I know I should probably make a real game out of this, one with a decent amount of puzzles, consistent rules, a solid engine, sound, decent graphics, so on and so forth, but that would be pretty boring to make. I'm not too great at making these little puzzles either, that's why there's very few actual chess type puzzles in this one and a bunch of random crap instead.

Harumph.  I'm half tempted to steal your original idea and make it into a full game.

I enjoyed this very much, the both of them. Sorry to hear you don't enjoy making these, as I'd love more, but ah well. Just know it was a good idea, and possibly not as bad as you'd intended
