We've had a busy few months since the release of Gang Garrison 2.0, and we have all sorts of wonderful news to share with the world.

First and foremost, we've just released the latest version of Gang Garrison which comes with a ridiculous amount of new features.

We've added the Control Point gamemode and a bunch of new maps. We've given the Healer the ability to Ubercharge (although we call it a Superburst), and the Overweight now has a Manvich to munch on and gain HP. The game now has a timer, a killcam, an afk kicker, and a humiliation round. There are also new sound effects, HUDs, and all sorts of other features.

There is a more extensive changelog on our website for anyone who is interested, but I should stop yapping and give you guys a download link.

Download Gang Garrison 2.1 here!

Oh, and that's not even the best part. We've gotten our official Valve endorsement, check out the latest announcement on the Team Fortress blog!!

But wait, there's more!

In addition to Gang Garrison, the Faucet community has expanded and begun work on a bunch of new collaborative, open-source, demakes.

At the moment our most exciting new project is Right 2 Live, a demake of Valve's Left 4 Dead. The version we have is essentially a hilarious prototype, but it's a lot of fun to play, and we hope to expand on it in the future.

We also have people working on Larry's Mod, a Garry's Mod demake, Gateway, a Portal demake, and a bunch of other projects that aren't done being prototyped yet.

All of these projects are collaborative and open-source, so if you are a programmer, an artist, or anyone interested in working collaboratively on games, now is the time to join us.

At this point we have plenty of people working on future version of Gang Garrison, but if you want to get in on one of our new games on the ground floor or have an idea for a demake that you want help developing, stop by our forum, say hi, and let us know how you can help us or we can help you.

Luckily, I don't think we have to worry about that anymore. Valve seems to love us. I got a chance to speak to Robin Walker (creator and creative director of tf2) at GDC, and he informed us that he TF2 dev team loved and support the game.

I think we're pretty much fully Valve-endorsed at this point.

If Right 2 Live's Tanks are an accurate reflection of those in L4D, I am officially scared shitless.

Great work, guys!

Congratulations, guys. It's a great game.

Just one question - how do you change the key binds? I have a left-handed mouse and it's awkward to use WASD.

as of right now, there isn't functionality for changing key binds. BUT you can change the key bindings on your computer (make "a" on your keyboard be the left arrow, for instance) if you're really itching to play more comfortably. but then that just turns into a hassle :\

hopefully this feature will be implemented soon, but I haven't heard anything as of late.
