Hey guys! I thought you might like to know that I've recently authored a open source CMS project that I think many of you will find extremely useful for managing your game/devlog/portfolio/blog websites: http://www.nconsulting.ca/nc-cms/

It's specifically designed around being lightweight, easy to use (it's pie for programmers and non-technical users to use), and dead easy to integrate into an already existing website. It's fantastic for smaller sites that need some content management ability, without having to learn a huge system like Drupal or Joomla. It can be integrated in about an hour, and as a side effect of its simplistic design, it's bloody fast.

Anyways, I hope you find it useful, and feedback/suggestions/code is always appreciated!  Gentleman

Looks good, but does it have functionality beyond editing a single page? (Thinking about potential uses.)

You can edit as many pages as you wish with it.  Smiley

By design it's made to sit on top of your pages like an add-on, as opposed to something that you must build your entire website upon from the beginning (like Wordpress, Joomla..). You get to choose exactly what pages and pieces of your pages should be editable.

For those interested in seeing some sites using nc-cms, it's currently being used live on:
http://www.lowermainlan.com/
http://www.atdscs.org/
And reportedly a number of sites "in development".

It's a very new project. That said, people who have been introduced to it so far seem to really like it!

Ah, yes. It looks good for a small, static website, for someone who doesn't want to modify the HTML files each time. I don't seem to be the target, but good luck. Smiley

This weekend saw a lot of testing and development, we've just released version 2.1.4 which introduces a slew of usability improvements!

 Coffee

Yeah, it's meant for smaller sites, hence the tagline "A simple content management system for simple websites"; and if that's what you need it for, it fits the bill very very well!  Wink

This isn't (and will never be) the enormous CMS that tries to be absolutely everything but the kitchen sink; there's already plenty of projects out there which do that.
