I'm looking for Indie developers and commercial tool makers to take a look at http://IndieGameTools.com.  Its a place that catalogs game development tools and Indie developers' opinions about them.  Time will tell if it becomes a useful tool itself.  I'd appreciate any time you can spare to provide feedback on your favorite tools.  Perhaps when the site matures it can help your project.

The database is starting out with about 800 tools. I'm sure that many are missing but we'll fix that in time. If this works... great, enjoy, and glad I could help. If it doesn't, well then pardon the spam and I'll get back to making games.

I don't know if I can trust a website that lists MySQL as the ultimate indie game making tool.

@Paul
Thanks.  ohrrpgce added.

@Mipey
Also thanks!  Construct added.

@Eric
Lol!  And you should be skeptical of any site that tells you about game tools!  But seriously, I just opened up the database yesterday to voting so there isn't much meat on the bones yet.  And of course if you don't set the filters on what kind of tool you are looking to see then you will get a weird mix of stuff.  Mysql is well known... and people like it as a database, it just happens that the db people have voted a little more than anyone else in these first few hours.  Thanks for visiting the site.  Maybe check back later to see if the info quality has improved.

I don't like that I can't stay on the same page while voting on a bunch of tools.

@John.  Agreed.  I have that on my "to fix" list.  Stay tuned.

@Craig.  Thanks!

@rpmoura.  I noticed that a tight little community of Construct fans is contributing to the website, hehe, more power to them!  I've not tried it before but I also now have it on my things to try out list.
