Do we have any ETA on survival multiplayer? I was into creative for a while, but gave up because griefers were wrecking my stuff.
I'm keen to check out what it would be like defending a fort together though.

Definetly my favorite game, made by who now is my hero. Skeletons, giant spiders, green kamikaze freaks, and blocks makes a purely awesome game. I have seen only one other person that plays MC, and he said Alpha sucks. SHUN HIM! SHUUUUUUUUN!  I should play some more SMP than my save where I cheated diamond tools that has an awesome creeper-carved cave and redstone and a farm with a underground sector and a a a a a *explodes*  |

It looks like they didn't replant trees when they cut them down for all that wood. I don't see any trees on that land to the right.
Once the next update rolls out, I think I'll work on making something out of the Mana series.
Yeah i'm giving the game a break too till the halloween update. I really hopes he get's biomes working. That's gonna be sweeet! |

I doubt very much such a large botnet would be mobilized because some bored teens want more updates on the game. Plus I believe 83k bots in a network isn't something a 4chan user could ever have, or that anyone would post about on 4chan. People who have resources like that probably spend their time extorting money from large companies. |

Addictive indie computer game Minecraft was knocked off it's little block wheels yesterday apparently by a group of self-identifying disenfranchised Minecraft players demanding more updates from the game's creator.
If that's true, yeah, that'll get the updates out faster. ...Or more likely, bankrupt the guy so all development on the game ceases.  Although I'm not sure why fans would do that though, because that'd mean they couldn't play SMP. >>Start providing your customers with the updates that you promise them.
I imagine they didn't get the Halloween update then? |
