I always thought that a lack of flying mobs means that you don't have to always make a full house, often just a platform with walls. Some kind of outdoor flying mob on the way aswell perhaps.

What exactly do you mean? Well it would seem there's a lot of money going into Minecraft. If you wanted to hijack it, saying you're just a bunch of angry fans would be an acceptable cover story I guess. Although, having any cover story at all is stupid, but thieves have a tendency to be notoriously stupid as my junk mail seems to illustrate. |

I think I read on Notch's twitter that there's a slight chance of ghasts spawning near portals in the regular world... |

Wasn't that about a slight chance of them spawning near portals in Hell? So normally they don't spawn near ur portal, but rarely they do. However I do hope they spawn in the regular world aswell. The update's gonna be awesome  |

Looked it up. @notch will the ghasts only be in hell, or will they be in the normal dimension as well?
@jakeyyyboyy if you've got a gate, they can (rarely) spawn there.
